HawkeyePedershaab merges with CAM Sales

MEDIAPOLIS, Iowa – May 15, 2018 — HawkeyePedershaab Concrete Technologies Inc. is pleased to announce its acquisition of CAM Sales, Inc. CAM Sales is the leading manufacturer of pre-fabricated shear steel stirrup assemblies for concrete pipe, box culverts and other concrete structures. CAM is also a leading manufacturer of reinforcement accessories and provider of precast concrete production equipment in North America. This acquisition allows HawkeyePedershaab to expand its range of product offerings to the concrete industry. HawkeyePedershaab merges with BFS

The partnership broadens our company’s product lines and geographic reach. HawkeyePedershaab Concrete Technologies Inc. is pleased to announce its merger with BFS Betonfertigteilesysteme GmbH. Through this partnership with BFS, HawkeyePedershaab will expand its presence in the concrete pipe and manhole machinery segment, and offer new product lines serving the pressure pipe, manhole, pole plant, and block and paver end-markets. Matt Childs Awarded ASTM Litehiser Award

Litehiser Memorial Award is presented to a member of Committee C13 on Concrete Pipe who has performed outstanding work in the field of the committee's activity. At the annual ASTM C 13 meeting our V.P. of North American Sales, Matt Childs, was awarded the Litehiser Award! Additionally, long time customer and friend, Bill Washabaugh, owner of Northern Concrete Pipe, won the Heger Award. Congratulations to both Matt Childs and Bill Washabaugh!

We sat down with Kyle to learn more about him. When did you start at HP, and what was your first role with the company? January 2016. CNC Machining. When you are not at work, what are some of your favorite things to do? Spend time with my daughter and my wife. Whenever I’m not doing that I’m driving my mustang, working in the garage or playing some video games. Kyle’s Most fond memory with HP thus far: Getting to go to St. Louis to be part of the group that came up with our company’s WHY statement. It was just incredible to be a part of something so important and to get to meet and spend time with people from all areas of our company including our Denmark teammates.   Congratulations to Kyle on being selected as the first ever WHY Award recipient!

The two have combined to provide greater solutions to the concrete market. New Hampton Metal Fab marks the first acquisition for HawkeyePedershaab since partnering with BW Forsyth Partners last September.
